Little Prairie UMC, in collaboration with the City of Dundas and local businesses, brings you a family-friendly community event – The Annual Dundas Oktoberfest.

In the quaint, history-rich rural town of Dundas, Minnesota, the community and our local church come together again to host a family-friendly Oktoberfest that captures the spirit of unity and celebration. Nestled amidst harvest fields and picturesque landscapes, this event is a beloved tradition that draws residents and visitors alike. The downtown transforms into a lively festival site, adorned with colorful banners and autumnal decorations. Families can enjoy a variety of activities, such as pumpkin painting, horse and wagon rides through the scenic countryside, and more.

The air is filled with the enticing aroma of German-themed delicacies, prepared by church volunteers and local artisans. Throughout the day, the sounds of cheerful music and live performances by the Bavarian Musikmeisters echo across the grounds, encouraging everyone to dance and join in the merriment. An artisanal crafts market showcases the talents of local craftsmen, offering unique handmade goods and keepsakes. The event beckons all to enjoy a fall day in Minnesota, celebrating heritage and close-knit bonds that make Dundas a truly special place.

The Rockin’ Hep Cats will be at Little Prairie UMC tonight, headlining the last Music on the Prairie of the summer. Make your way to one of the best backyards in Dundas for a wonderful evening of music and community.

Food is available for purchase starting at 5:30pm

Little Prairie UMC welcomes the community to enjoy family-friendly evenings of music, fellowship and love of community this summer. Grab some friends, camping chairs, and be part of this growing community event.

This summer music series wraps up with The Rockin’ Hep Cats, a group of musicians from Dodge Center, MN that plays roots Rock N Roll with an authentic energy and feeling as when the records first came out in the 50's! Children’s activities, food and beverages will be available. Bring your own lawn chair. Events are rain or shine. There will be a free-will offering. All proceeds will benefit the ministries of the church. Contact info below. RSVP’s are welcome, but not necessary. We would love to have you join us!
