Mishpocha,

Just a reminder that we will be celebrating and sharing the Lord's Supper (communion) as a congregational family tomorrow during our Shabbat service.

This is a time for us to reflect on our lives and where we have fallen short, remembering that the "goodness of God leads us to repentance (teshuvah)" (Rom. 2:4), and thanking Him for our redemption through Yeshua's ultimate sacrifice!

"For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Yeshua on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'" (1 Cor. 11:23-24)

We look forward to a wonderful Shabbat!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Chag Shavuot Sameach Mishpocha!

Shavuot/Pentecost

Today is Sivan 6 on the Jewish calendar, which marks the first day of Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks). It is the culmination of 50 days of "Counting the Omer" since Passover and the feast of First Fruits.

Historically, the feast of Shavuot celebrates God's provision and fulfillment of the wheat harvest for his people. Traditionally, it is observed as the day when the Torah was given to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai, 50 days after they left Egypt. It was also on this very day, known as Pentecost ("fifty") on the Christian calendar, that the Holy Spirit descended and empowered the first-century believers, Jews from every nation who came to celebrate the feast at Jerusalem.

Shabbat Service

Please plan on joining us tomorrow as we celebrate this wonderful festival of Shavuot/Pentecost. We will enter into thanksgiving and praise with an extended time of worship, a dance presentation, testimonies, a Shavuot message from God's word, and a special oneg after service!

Oneg
Please consider bringing a covered dish (an entree, casseroles, small bites, side dishes, salads, fruit, or something special) to share. We request that, as you are able, you bring items already prepared and in their own containers to minimize cleanup.

We look forward to a great time of ministry, worship, and fellowship!

Blessings and Chag Sameach!

Mishpocha,

Join us this evening, May 20th, at 7:00 p.m., for corporate prayer.

We continue to pray and intercede for our families and congregation, our broader community, our nation, and Israel. Let's seek the Lord together for a great Awakening, to begin in the hearts of His people, to release healing, restoration, and revival in the earth.

May 9th Shabbat Service - Honoring Moms

Shalom Mishpocha,

This coming Sunday, May 10th, is Mother's Day, and we will set aside a little time during our Shabbat service tomorrow to honor our moms at Bat Zion.

After the service, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy cake and coffee, and a light nosh in the fellowship room! There will also be an opportunity to take pictures with friends and family in the foyer, where we have a beautiful "Mother's Day" backdrop to create lasting memories.

"Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the days to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom--a lesson of kindness is on her tongue." (Proverbs 31:25-26)

We look forward to a wonderful Shabbat!

Blessings and Shalom to all!
