56 guests their delicious Chicken Tettrazini meal, followed by yummy Ice Cream Sundaes!
Oh what fun the team had
prepping & serving their guests.


Thanks be to God for the ability to serve the city through our church as just a small part of the FUMCD Missions program.

Once again, due to the generosity

our pantry is full!

Annual Conference 2026: Loving Boldly Together

We gathered this week for another Horizon Texas Annual Conference — and what a gathering it was.

From the high-energy atmosphere to moments of powerful worship, this year's conference reminded us of what it looks like when the body of Christ comes together to walk alongside one another as we love boldly. The teaching was inspiring, the spirit in the room was palpable, and it was a joy to witness the leadership and active participation of our youth and young adults, to celebrate the ministry of our retirees and to ordain and commission new clergy in our Annual Conference.

As we carry the spirit of this conference back into our communities, we invite you to take a few moments to reflect on everything God did this week. Watch the closing wrap-up video message from Bishop Saenz and be encouraged as we step forward together to love boldly in the world.

Read With a Child and Make A Difference!

Reading Volunteers Needed: June 22-25 and July 6-9
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
at Glen Oaks United Methodist Church

Reading daily with volunteers helps youngsters retain reading skills during the summer. Volunteer any morning that you are available.

We will carpool from FUMCD to Glenn Oaks UMC.

Sign-up begins Sunday, May 31st

Volunteers and Food will be needed for:
