In this week's lesson found in Luke 7, Jesus heals a deaf and mute man. Jesus did many miracles during his time on earth, and God still heals today. 👏👏👏👏

Work with your child this week and find five other instances in the Bible where Jesus healed someone. A simple internet search should help you find some!

In this ever-changing and increasingly crazy world we live in, it is more important than ever for children to memorize scripture.

In Jeremiah 17, those who love God are compared to a tree that is planted near the water. For a tree to grow, it needs to develop deep roots that hold it in the ground when the storms come.

This is true for a child's spiritual growth too. When they memorize scripture, God's word grows "roots" that are deep and strong and able to withstand the storms of life.

As your child memorizes scripture, these words will influence the way they think and respond to the world around them.

This week's Power Verse in Kids' Church is "𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂." 𝗘𝘅𝗼𝗱𝘂𝘀 𝟭𝟱:𝟮𝟲.

Any student who can recite that verse on Sunday will receive extra "Marty Bucks" for the next store on November 14.

Kids' Church at Duncannon Assembly of God is back!

We will start up again tomorrow during the 10:45 morning service. Kids will stay in the regular service until worship is over. Watch for a message on the screens to let them know when to meet Tracey in the lobby!
