In the beginning, before God began to create anything, he had a plan; He knew man would fall into sin and had already chosen a people from every tribe and nation that He would redeem through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. He has chosen in the time to call to His sheep through this Gospel of grace that though we were sinful and without hope in the world, He alone has made a way for the redemption of mankind through the sacrifice of His son. We are a chosen people that He has known and loved since before the creation of the world. And now, through the teaching of the Gospel, God is calling His sheep to Himself by this same Gospel.
Ephesians 1
In Him 11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, 12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 2
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead [f]in our transgressions, made us alive together [g]with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and [h]that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
John 10
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will sn**ch them out of My hand.
