URGENT BLOOD SUPPLY UPDATES:
For the only the second time in our history, the American Red Cross has fallen into a blood crisis - Not just a shortage. We currently have less than 1-day O+ on the shelves, and less than 3 days for all other types.

It is critical that every donor that can come out to donate. The unexpected, prolonged illnesses sweeping the country, severe flooding and storms in the southeast, combined with a record low turnout of regular donors, has resulted in this very dire situation. Treatments (For example, cancer and Sickle Cell patients) and surgeries are being postponed due to lack of product. It really is all hearts-in and all sleeves up to save lives!

Please help us save lives by making an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org and using sponsor code DUNCANCOMM. We have 24 of 48 appointments filled. We we could get at least two more we would reach our goal.

We have now fallen into a full-blown blood shortage, with an emergency, nationwide appeal that was executed last Monday. Hospitals are asking for more product than what is coming in, and since most blood collected stays local first - It's truly all hearts in and all sleeves to save lives right now. Every pint means something more than ever. Please feel free to use this message as you advertise and recruit donors, if you like.

We currently have 22 of 48 online. If we can get 6 more to sign-up, we will be on track to hit the goal! This one is shaping up GREAT to save a ton of lives, too!

Monday it was announced there’s a nationwide blood shortage. We have a goal to collect 25 pints this time. We only have 18 of 48 slots filled. Power red appointments are open at 9:00, 9:30, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:0. 1:00 and 1:30 pm. These count as two pints. We could reach our goal much quicker if these times were filled.
