6th & Meredith church of Christ This local congregation was established in 1919 and we are the original church of Christ in Dumas, TX.

Our mission is to spread the gospel and bring lost souls to Christ. Here at the 6th and Meredith church of Christ in Dumas, TX, you’ll find people who just want to follow God’s will for their lives. Like the first century churches of Christ, we are a non-denominational church that is patterned after the New Testament and governed by the authority of Jesus Christ. The men and women here believe tha

t God speaks through His word, the Bible. You will find that we don’t follow the creeds of any denomination, because all we want to be are just Christians. If you have any questions about anything we do, just ask us. Everything we do is directly based in Biblical principles, so our answers will always have scripture with them. If something we do is not in accordance with God’s Word, then we need to change to fit God’s Word; not change God’s Word to fit to us.

Why do I present this series throughout the country? Atheists have listened to these lessons and have obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ. Evolutionists have attended and told me after hearing just one lesson they would never believe or teach the General Theory of Organic Evolution again. I am kind in my approach to presenting these important truths because I know and have worked with non-believers that have just never seen the evidence. Once they see there is strong evidence for God, His Word, and for Creation many change their convictions and accept our Lord and Savior.

The men of our congregation met this morning for Bible study and for further preparation for tomorrow morning's worship service! We invite you to meet with us as we are excited to Praise the God of Heaven!

Worship services with the Lord's Supper begin at 9:30 AM and Bible Classes for all ages are at 11:00 AM.

The Adult Bible Class will be studying Hebrews chapter 12.
