Week 2: The Vertical Shift
Theme: The Weight of Holiness and Repentance

True revival doesn’t usually begin with celebration — it begins with confrontation. Before there is dancing, there must be dying to self. Before there is joy, there must be repentance. Before resurrection, there must be the cross.

This week we’re making a Vertical Shift - moving our eyes off culture, off comparison with others, and fixing them on the holiness of God.

When Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up, he cried “Woe is me!” That one glimpse of God’s glory dismantled pride, exposed sin, and led to cleansing.

We’ll dive into:

• The weight of God’s holiness (kabod)
• Deep contrition and godly sorrow
• The power of repentance and public confession
• Recovering the fear of the Lord
• How conviction leads to cleansing, not condemnation

If you’ve been longing for more than surface-level Christianity — if pride, compromise, or spiritual numbness has crept in — this is your night for honest surrender and fresh encounter with a holy God.

🔥The Purpose of the Prophetic 🔥

Most people think prophecy is fortune-telling, hidden destinies, or supernatural predictions about tomorrow.

But Scripture says something far more powerful:

A true prophetic voice doesn’t point you to your dreams — it points you to JESUS CHRIST.

It’s not about making much of us. It’s about building His Church, confronting sin with love, bringing comfort in the storm, and calling us to deeper obedience today.

In this message we unpack:

• What “propheteuo” really means (speaking forth God’s mind)
• The lion’s roar of forth-telling (Amos)
• The mirror that exposes the heart (Nathan & David)
• Paul’s 3-fold filter: Edification • Exhortation • Comfort
• And the ultimate test: Does it glorify Jesus?

True prophecy doesn’t create celebrities. It creates worshippers.

The greatest need in the Church isn’t more information — it’s more transformation.

Stop and think about this for a second 🔥
