Up-Coming Busy Season -

I am writing this message because our ministry work is at a very important place in both growth and impact with the First Nations People of Canada. In the last two years we have doubled the number of communities reached through radio. This incredible impact was possible because of the generous gifts...

NOFC Building Globally -

Last year I arranged shipment of 3 of the Radio towers we purchased in 2020, to be sent to Liberia for a New Christian radio network. In January I went to Liberia to teach them how to construct these towers as well as help set up this new radio station, This tower is now reaching over 750,000 people...

We learned last night that our CJTL radio station in Oxford house MB was burned down, radio off the air in this community.
We’re hoping to make a trip there in a week or two to see if we can get the signal restored. This is not in our current budget, and we will need about $4000.00 CAN to replace equipment. Fortunately we have some equipment in stock that’s earmarked for future project this fall, we’re going to trust God to provide and restore the signal as soon as possible. We have plans to be in Norway House soon, so it would be an ideal time to make a side trip to Oxford house. Please pray that our needs our met, and that the Gospel will encourage hearts in this community again soon.

Hello, so sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. Now that Dan is home and life is resuming normal I don't really get time to be online. But he is doing well. His hemoglobin is not up to normal yet so he tires easily which is not the normal Dan. He is otherwise back to pre-hospital status. Still having digestive issues and some indication that the bleeding might be still an issue. He has another test scheduled for Dec. 1. We'll see how he does over the weekend to determine if we wait it out or head back to the doctor on Monday.

Good news! Dan is getting discharged from the hospital today. Nothing conclusive tho. However, pretty sure he has a partial blockage in his small intestine. He will need to do out-patient follow-up and testing to figure this out.

And the saga continues. He is still in the hospital. He will be having his scopes done any time now. His hemoglobin level seems to be stable however he is still just above half of normal range. But now his IV arm is messed up. ☹️ His spirits are good and he's bored so you know he's feeling better. 😊 Hoping to bring him home tomorrow.

Ok. Here's the latest: of course his numbers were up after second transfusion but then they dropped, dropped, rose! Not a whole lot but they increased on their own so his bleeding must be stopping. He is scheduled to have GI scopes tomorrow to see if there is any indication of where it is all coming from. We got the results from last week's biopsy and he does NOT have cancer!!!! PTL!!!!!!!

So after the second transfusion he's doing a lot better but we don't know how long that will last since he may or may not still be bleeding internally. They're going to do the ultrasound scope tomorrow to see if they can get a better feel for the weird spot in his stomach. They're looking to see if there is some sort of growth on the outside or what.
