GO TELL Ministries

GO TELL Ministries Reaching people for the Kingdom of God. The vision of GO TELL is large … the more we can dream, the more we can do. Faith and hard work are our trademarks.

There is nothing bigger or more important to God than reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus came to this earth on a mission to seek and to save the lost. The last thing Christ directed His disciples to do before He left the earth was to fulfill “The Great Commission” – His call to go into the whole world with His Good News and make followers of those who don’t know Him as their

Savior and Lord. Not only does this directive still exist, but we believe it is to be just as much our number-one goal in the 21st century as it was in the first. We envision partnering with churches nationwide to equip hundreds of thousands of God’s people on how to witness and share the Gospel through the many outreaches of GO TELL. Nothing of eternal significance ever happens apart from prayer. Please join us in this vision of reaching the unsaved all over the world before it’s everlastingly too late. There is nothing more dear to God’s heart.

In the words of GO TELL Founder Rick Gage, “The Gospel still works.” In 2003, more than 10,000 people gathered for a four-night crusade in London, Kentucky. More than 500 spiritual decisions were recorded, including 220 first-time professions of faith.

But the impact of those decisions didn't end when the crusade did. The years pass, yet the Gospel remains the same – and the legacy of transformed lives and families continues to reverberate today.

For 40 years, GO TELL has faithfully carried the Gospel to students, churches, and communities around the world. We are grateful for every life changed and look forward with expectancy to all God will continue to do.

In 2005, a group of students left GO TELL Camp and went home determined to put what they had learned into practice. They shared their faith at every stop along the way. At one gas station, a cashier gave her life to Christ. The students wouldn't leave until they had connected her with a Bible-believing church. That was the heartbeat of GO TELL Student Camp then, and it still is today.

Not just a camp experience.
Not just an emotional moment.
A lasting encounter with Jesus that sends students home ready to live out their faith and share the Gospel with the people around them.

The years change.
The culture changes.
Generations change.
The mission doesn’t.

For 40 years, GO TELL has been calling students to know Christ, live for Christ, and GO TELL.

Every story has a beginning.
Before the camps. Before the crusades. Before the stadiums filled with people. Before more than 120,000 students and leaders were reached with the Gospel, and more than 40,000 made commitments to Christ…

There was a young man who loved people and believed the next generation needed to hear about Jesus.

Rick Gage began as a football coach, investing in young people long before GO TELL became what it is today. And as the years went on, that burden to reach students grew into a calling to preach the Gospel wherever God opened the door.

From the football field, to the first GO TELL camp in 1989, to the GO TELL camps happening this summer, the mission has never changed:

Reach the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This year, as we celebrate 40 years of GO TELL, we continue to look back with gratitude and look ahead with expectation.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

As our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we have a unique opportunity to reflect on God’s providence, the courage of those who came before us, and the enduring principles upon which our nation was founded.

As grateful as we are for the freedoms secured through the birth of our nation, there is an even greater freedom available to every person: eternal freedom in Christ. ”So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.” — John 8:36 (CSB)

Political freedom allows us to worship.
Spiritual freedom allows us to know the One we worship.
Political freedom protects our rights.
Spiritual freedom transforms our hearts.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we give thanks for God’s many blessings and remind ourselves of the mission God has given His Church: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ so that others may experience the lasting freedom only He can provide.

That is why GO TELL Ministries exists. Every camp, crusade, mission trip, church partnership, and Gospel conversation is another opportunity to share the hope and freedom found in Christ alone.

❤️🤍💙 Happy Independence Day from all of us at GO TELL Ministries.

In just two days, we've already seen over 100 commitments to Christ at GO TELL Camp—and there are still two more nights to come. 🙌
God is moving at as students encounter Jesus and respond to the Gospel. Thankful for Blake Goss leading this moment of surrender and worship.

“I brought 12 students to GO TELL Camp. Four of those students got saved, and their lives have been transformed since camp. These students came basically unchurched and left on fire to serve the Lord.” - Youth Pastor

We are deeply grateful for what God has already done though GO TELL Student Camp, and we are prayerfully expecting even more. Would you pray with us?

Pray for students who are registered, that their hearts would be softened, their faith strengthened and their lives transformed by the Gospel.

Pray for those still making decisions about attending, for finances and for God to make a way for these students.

We are deeply grateful for what God has already done though GO TELL Student Camp, and we are prayerfully expecting even more. With registration nearly full, two locations now closed, and only a few spots remaining at Mississippi Christian University, we are asking the Lord to continue opening the right doors and preparing every heart that will be attending this summer.

Would you pray with us?

Pray for students who are registered, that their hearts would be softened, their faith strengthened and their lives transformed by the Gospel.

Pray for those still making decisions about attending, for finances and for God to make a way for these students.

GO TELL Ministries joins with the family of James Robison, his ministry and people all over the world in mourning his passing. For over 50 years, James preached the Gospel to more than 20 million people through his evangelistic crusades with two million making decisions for Christ. James Robison was the founder of Life Outreach International, a global ministry that impacted generations for the Lord by bringing food to the hungry, water to the thirsty and the hope of Christ to a hurting world.

James Robison had a significant impact on the life of Rick Gage. He was a close friend to the Gage family. He was preaching the night Rick totally surrendered his life to Christ after years of running away from God. Upon learning this, James rejoiced and encouraged Rick to live completely for Jesus. A mission he took to heart and has faithfully followed since 1984.

We rejoice in knowing that James “fought the good fight… finished the race… kept the faith,” and is now in the presence of our God and Savior hearing “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Please join us in praying for his wife, Betty, his family and Life Outreach International.
