We’re excited to share that adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes will once again be offered at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church (PHPC), made possible through The Re-Church Project!
The fall session begins Saturday, September 12, and continues through November 21, with classes meeting every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The class will offer 11 in-person sessions, providing 33 hours of English instruction.
In addition, participants will have access to a complimentary virtual Conversation and Pronunciation Class every Thursday from 7:00–8:00 PM. This adds 11 additional hours of practice, bringing the semester total to 44 hours of English learning and conversation practice!
The registration fee is $75 for the session. Participants are also invited to contribute $50 per month, though this contribution is not required. These donations help provide instructional materials, as well as snacks, coffee, and water throughout the session.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to open our doors and offer a welcoming space where adults in our community can build English skills, gain confidence, and connect with others. If you or someone you know would benefit from these classes, we encourage you to share this opportunity!
