If you are fortunate enough to have someone in your life that has your back always, no questions asked, then you truly have a brother. Our brother Bruce Anderson, better known as Roadblock, has been that brother to us, and to many of you I'm sure. He needs your prayers right now. A week ago today, he was admitted to St. Luke's with a stroke. What initially seemed mild, has now caused very limited use of his right arm and hand, as well as needing a brace on his right ankle and foot, needing assistance to walk with a platform walker. He asked me to share this, in hopes that we can all see how God is able to use a seemingly devastating situation, to show His love, provision and healing.
I don't know if I've ever seen Roadblock this positive. He knows God has this and Bruce is working so hard in his therapies on the rehab unit. He is been so complimentary of everyone delivering care, and I have seen him putting a smile on the faces of the rehab staff. He is truly being salt and light, in what could be a very dark place.
This has been a challenging season for the Anderson family, to say the least. He has stood by his amazing wife Jenny through her breast cancer battle the last 2 years, and she and their kids are standing strong with Bruce through his rehab now. God is front and center in their lives and I know they are trusting in Him for complete healing.
If you would like to visit, please message us and we'll give you the room number. I want this page for Roadblock to give updates on his progress, as well as sharing what God is showing him in this difficult time. Thank you for your support and prayers and God bless!
