Memorial Service for Gloria Dei member, Gary Garnatz is Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 am (CT). The service will be streamed on the Gloria Dei Boxcast channel. It will not be posted on social media channels (Facebook or YouTube) which is our normal practice for funerals and memorial services. The Boxcast link is in the 1st comment below if you know the Garnatz family and would like to attend his service virtually.

For those who know Mary Garmer and are unable to attend her Memorial Service on April 11th. It will be live streamed on the Gloria Dei Boxcast Channel which you can find on our website, or on the link provided in the below comments.
Scroll down and select Boxcast. We will not be streaming this on social media (Facebook or YouTube). If you can't join the live streamed service it will be available to view for a month or so on our Boxcast channel.

CELEBRATING 84 YEARS OF BROADCAST MINISTRY

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Gloria Dei will celebrate the 84th anniversary of broadcasting its 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship live on WDSM Radio (710 AM & 98.1 FM). We are told that this is the longest running live radio broadcast of a worship service on the same station in Minnesota.

Since 2017, online broadcasts have reached even more people, this past year averaging 254 weekly views of our live & recorded services through our website, Boxcast channel, YouTube and FB page. Thank you for tuning in!

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the Gospel in this way and thankful for all who make the broadcast possible. The Interfaith Welcoming Congregations group that meets monthly at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church was out on the corner of 6th Ave. E. And 3rd St. (outside of Gloria Dei) from about 11:30am-12:30pm after church on 2-15-25.
We stood in solidarity with those who perhaps feel unsafe to stand up publicly, or are unsure that anyone cares enough to stand with them. The unhoused, the immigrant, transgender youth, the illegally detained, the hungry. We are there with you.
