Step Forward Global Ministries Step Forward Global Ministries' mission is to serve the greatest needs in the Middle East by presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Michel Khalil
Founder

We specialize in providing leadership, discipleship and serve the need of the local church in every nation. In the past 20 years, harshness and violence have rapidly increased in the Middle East. Thousands of Christians have been kidnapped and killed in Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Sudan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya and elsewhere. Hundreds of churches have been bombed. In 2017 I decided to act in obedience to God's calling upon my heart. I started Step Forward Global Ministries, a huge step of faith. The vision of Step Forward is to meet the greatest needs in the Middle East by serving those who are sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the region. I am confident of multiplied impact as we are able to motivate and mobilize Christian leaders to do the Lord's work and make His Name known in the greater Middle East area of our world. Many who kill Christians are desperate for the truth and are waiting for a witness to tell them about the sweet Redeemer. When people come to Christ, they are hungry to know Jesus to the fullest and to make Him known to others. That is why we provide discipleship, evangelism and leadership training for them. I plead with you to pray for what is happening in the greater Middle East area and to find a way to get involved with our ministry opportunities. I am humbly blessed and deeply grateful for the privilege of serving God in this hour of such great need!

Highlights from the Coptic Orthodox Church Conference held in September 2026!

10/07/2026

We are so grateful for the fifth leadership conference that Step Forward conducted for the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt.

It was a truly blessed time of fellowship, encouragement, teaching, and spiritual renewal.

We are deeply thankful for everyone who prayed, and we give all the glory to God for what He accomplished through this conference.

We all experienced Godโ€™s awesome presence and witnessed His faithfulness throughout the conference.

May the Lord continue to use this gathering to strengthen and equip His people, and advance His Kingdom for His glory.

We give thanks to the Lord for the leadership conference that took place in the city of Maghagha, Minya Governorate, Egypt. We are grateful for His faithfulness throughout the event and for the opportunity to equip and encourage leaders. The training had a meaningful impact on those who attended, strengthening their leadership skills, deepening their faith, and inspiring them to serve their churches and communities with renewed vision, wisdom, and commitment. We pray that the lessons learned will continue to bear fruit and positively influence many lives for years to come.

We thank the Lord for Rev. Magdy Reefat, "Magdy Refaat" who graciously hosted this leadership training. We are deeply grateful for his warm hospitality, faithful service, and commitment to equipping leaders for effective ministry.
