The month of May offers a special opportunity to honor Mary, the Mother of God. Our parish will celebrate the May Crowning, a venerable tradition recognizing Mary’s role as Queen of Heaven and Earth. This ceremony invites us to reflect on her humble devotion and to ask for her continued intercession. We welcome you to gather in the narthex on Tuesday, May 5, immediately following the 9:00 am Mass to share in this testament to faith and the enduring love of our Blessed Mother.

A light reception provided by the Marian Servants Ministry will follow in the Parish Life Center.

On April 18, parishioners unleashed their inner geniuses at Father Paul’s Trivia Night. While every team put up a spirited fight, there could only be one champion. A huge congratulations to “Nun Better” for clinching the top spot! They proved that when it comes to trivia, their wisdom is second to “nun.”

A special shout-out to everyone who helped make this event a success.

Our preschool spent a wonderful afternoon hunting for hidden treasures at their egg hunt on April 1. The children looked absolutely adorable in the handmade bunny hats they created in class, with ears bouncing as they filled their baskets.

Our hearts are full as we officially welcome our newest brothers and sisters into the Catholic faith! During the beautiful Easter Vigil here at St. Benedict Catholic Church, these individuals received the Sacraments of Initiation.

To our newly initiated: your journey of faith has inspired us all. We are so blessed to have you as part of our parish family. May the light of Christ continue to guide you, and may you always find a home and a community of love right here at St. Benedict.

Divine Mercy Sunday is a very special Sunday when the Divine Floodgates from Heaven are wide opened and Jesus offers us the total forgiveness of all sins and punishment to any soul, who goes to Confession and receives Him in Holy Communion that day.

Feast of Divine Mercy celebration this Sunday at 2:00 PM in the church. Jesus entrusted St Faustina with the mission of spreading his message of compassion and forgiveness to sinners seeking reconciliation with God. He told her, “My heart overflows with great mercy…. especially for poor sinners….I desire to bestow My graces upon souls, but they do not want to accept them. For them I dwell in the tabernacle as King of Mercy.” (Diary 367) Come join us with confident trust.
