We need you!
SAVE OUR CHURCH-UNITED PROTESTANT CHURCH-MORGAN PARK·TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2020·
As with so many institutions in the age of COVID-19, the United Protestant Church in Morgan Park is in need of help. Over the years, the community of Morgan Park has lost many of its historical landmarks and we are now faced with the possibility of losing one of the greatest ones. The United Protestant Church has been a beacon in our community for over 100 years and it is now time for all of us to unite and rescue it before it becomes just a memory like the others. The church 100% funds it’s operations through yearly events and Sunday donations but with COVID-19 all those events have been cancelled and service attendance greatly diminished. That said, we at United Protestant Church have organized a “Save Our Church” fundraiser and are now selling sweatshirts! By purchasing these sweatshirts and having a successful fundraiser, it will most certainly help us keep the lights on and the community outreach thriving until we can get back to Pre-COVID times.
I am pleading with all of you, ones who have a connection (past and present) to the United Protestant Church, the community of Morgan Park (past and present) or just people that have been blessed to be a part of this wonderful place. PLEASE help if you can!! If a sweatshirt is not your thing, we have a GIVE button on the United Protestant website (https://unitedprotestantchurch.org)and you can donate whatever you can spare. No gesture is too small and any amount is appreciated! Remember....Christmas is coming upon us and who wouldn’t LOVE a sweatshirt from the United Protestant Church...great gift/great cause...it’s a win/win!!
