The Parish Council of St. Anthony of Padua in Dudley, together with our parishioners, extends heartfelt thanks to the Malser Family Trust for their extraordinarily generous grant.
⁣
We are honored to have been awarded $20,000 toward our handicapped‑accessible bathroom project. This gift will greatly improve access for our parish community and for all those we serve.
⁣
We have just recently begun construction on what will be a wonderful addition to our church.
⁣
We are deeply grateful not only for this remarkable support, but also for the many projects the Malser Family Trust has helped make possible over the years.

This week, we honor St. Teresa of Calcutta (Feast Day: September 5th)!

She believed that we don’t need to perform "big" miracles to change the world; we only need to infuse our smallest daily tasks with the love of Christ.

In a world that often measures success by scale and speed, St. Teresa reminds us that holiness is found in the simple act of showing up for the person right in front of us. Let us ask for her intercession today, that we may find the great love needed to serve our neighbors.

God isn't just the God of our "rest" seasons; He is the architect of our "busy" seasons, too. We don't have to rush into the next chapter: we can walk into it with confidence, knowing He has already prepared the way.

This week, we honor the brilliant mind and powerful convert, Saint Augustine of Hippo (Feast Day: August 28th). 📖

Augustine spent his youth restless and searching for happiness in all the wrong places. Yet, thanks to the endless prayers of his mother, St. Monica, God finally broke through. His life is the perfect story of radical conversion and proof that no one is ever too far from God's reach.
⁣
After finding faith, he became a foundational bishop and writer, dedicating his great mind to God. His search ended with this profound truth: "Our hearts are restless until they rest in you, O Lord."
⁣
Let us pray through his intercession for the grace to stop searching and finally find our true peace in God, and for the conversion of those we are praying for. 🙏🏼
