What does it look like to be like Jesus? In our new series, Be Like Jesus, God invites us to look more like Jesus each month, year, and decade of our lives. Yet all our determination and best effort will not get us there. It is only with the help of God’s Spirit that we become like Jesus. During this series, kids will explore teachings from the New Testament that will lift the burden of self-powered character development and reveal the freedom that comes when we partner with the Holy Spirit on the journey of becoming like Jesus.

Upper elementary students in grades 2nd through 5th grade will be released during communion to hear a teaching from the Word!

Yesterday we learned how an angel instructed a Roman military official named Cornelius to meet Jesus’ disciple Peter. Meanwhile, God shows Peter through a vision that the Holy Spirit is for everyone- preparing Peter to meet Cornelius.
