Today we celebrate an incredible woman who has faithfully served our church staff for more than six years.

Jessica, your love for our children, your dedication to the mission, and your unwavering faithfulness have left a lasting impact on our church family. While your role on staff is coming to a close, this is not goodbye—you’re still very much a part of our church body, and we couldn’t be more excited for what God has next for you.

As you step into your new role as Assistant Principal at East Laurens Middle School, we know you will make the same difference there that you’ve made here. The lives you’ve touched, the relationships you’ve built, and the footprint you’ve left behind can never be erased.

Thank you for serving so faithfully, loving so deeply, and leading so well. We are cheering you on every step of the way.

What does it look like to be like Jesus? In our new series, Be Like Jesus, God invites us to look more like Jesus each month, year, and decade of our lives. Yet all our determination and best effort will not get us there. It is only with the help of God’s Spirit that we become like Jesus. During this series, kids will explore teachings from the New Testament that will lift the burden of self-powered character development and reveal the freedom that comes when we partner with the Holy Spirit on the journey of becoming like Jesus.
