VBS Update
After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to scale back Vacation Bible School from five days to a one-day event this year. This change is due to a decrease in the number of adult volunteers available to lead stations and small groups.
In recent years, we have also seen lower participation as many families are involved in summer camps, sports, and other activities during the evenings in June. We celebrate the many ways our children are learning, growing, and enjoying meaningful experiences throughout the summer.
We are deeply grateful for everyone who has supported VBS over the years through volunteering, donating, and participating. This year will provide an opportunity for us to evaluate our schedule and program so that we can strengthen and reimagine VBS for the future.
For those who can attend, VBS will be held on Wednesday, June 24, from 5:30–8:30 p.m. We will enjoy a pizza dinner, a short lesson, a simple craft, and outdoor water activities. We hope you will join us for this fun evening of fellowship and faith formation.
We encourage families to stay and participate with their children throughout the evening. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn, play, and grow together. If you are unable to stay, please let us know when you sign up so we can plan accordingly.
We look forward to bringing back a full VBS experience in 2027 and appreciate your understanding, prayers, and continued support of our children's ministry.
