Some things don’t let go easily.

Bitterness. Hurt. Old wounds. Stuff people said. Stuff people did. Sometimes it sits there for years before we even realize how much it’s shaping us.

But freedom is possible.

Not by pretending it didn’t happen. Not by stuffing it down. But by bringing it to Jesus, forgiving, releasing it, and taking the step toward making things right where we can.

“Whoever the Son sets free shall be free indeed.”

Our annual Crawfish Boil kicks off at 1 PM, and you’re invited. Bring your family, bring some friends, and come hungry.

We’ll have:

* All the crawfish you can eat
* Fried fish
* Hot dogs if crawfish isn’t really your thing
* Live auction for missions.
* Silent auction for missions.
* A whole lot of good conversation and community

“But God…”

Two words that change everything in Ephesians 2.

We were dead in our sin, stuck, broken, unable to fix ourselves—and then mercy stepped in. Not because we deserved it. Not because we cleaned ourselves up first. God moved first.

That’s still true today.

His grace is bigger than your past, bigger than your failure, bigger than the weight you walked in carrying this morning.

He makes dead things alive.

22,000 men walked away before the battle even started. Not because they couldn’t fight, but because they were afraid.

And they missed it. The victory. The moment. What God was about to do.

That’s the hard part about fear… it doesn’t just make you hesitate, it makes you step out of what God’s inviting you into.

So when God asks you to move, to trust Him, to take that step you don’t have to have it all figured out.

Just don’t let fear be the reason you miss it.
