Purposed Pool - June Youth Gathering
A note from the Youth Director:
In the Book of Ezekiel, God called him to be a watchman, to caution them of their slippage into being unfaithful and to warn them of their idolatry, unfaithfulness, and extortion. Iseral had fallen, and he was called to illustrate the coming doom of God's wrath. The saddest part of these scriptures' meaning was narrowed down to five words. God said, "but I found no one". He found no one to stand before Him, no one to pray or ask Him for mercy over the land. (Ezekiel 22:29-30)
Yes, we gathered to have some fun in the sun (and rain), we gathered to eat and find joy in fellowship but make no mistake. We gather to stand in the spiritual gap, to learn the desire God has for those who will plead in prayer for the lost, our families, our communities, and this world. We gathered to be true in our faith, to be intercessors, those who will to stand in that gap for others. In this historic downfall, God found no one willing. Humanity couldn't do it. However, this word points us to the one true hope, God sending Jesus to bridge the gap. It is my hope, that when He views this world looking for someone to stand, He finds YOU. Faithful, willing, and purposed. ❤️.
