2 Tim. 2:19
Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

Luke 12:4-8
4 “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
8 “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.

The word "providence" is never used in the Bible directly-like the Trinity-but the concept is there. It means to have foresight or to make provision beforehand. Simply put it means that God sees all things beforehand and uses the free choices of people to bring about his purposes for His glory.

Providence is different than a miracle in that God does not suspend natural laws to accomplish his purposes, but uses the free choices of individuals to being about His ends.

A recent example of God's providence at work is the attempted assassination of Donald Trump i.e. turning at just the right time to avoid death!

God is working providentially in your life to bring about his purposes. He even takes evil and uses it for good (Genesis 50:20). Even though I may not be able to trace his invisible hand, I must trust that He is working providentially!

How is your run going?
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart (Hebrews 12)

Isaiah 3:9-10
The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like S***m; they do not hide it.
Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

Our negative circumstances, others, or things don't define who we are. God does. We must see ourselves from His perspective. He says to the church in Smyrna in Revelation 2:9- I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich!

Did Christ rise from the dead? Yes! Remember the FACTS:

F-Fatal torment-Jesus actually died and did not swoon or fall unconscious
A-Abandoned tomb and appearances of Christ
C-Change in the 12 disciples, Paul (Christ hater) James (half brother
of Jesus and denier that He was God's Son till after resurrection)
T-Testimony of over 500 witnesses
S-Slaughter of disciples-All, except 1, died martyrs death (you don't die for a willful lie)

Love thy neighbor does not always mean agree with or enable thy neighbor.

George Muller was an Evangelical Christian, who directed the Ashley Down orphanage in Bristol, England, where he cared for 10,024 orphans throughout his life based on God's promise found in Psalm 68:5: “God is a Father to the orphans.”

He founded 117 schools that offered Christian education to 120,000 children, many of them without parents. He started the orphanages and schools without asking anyone for money or assistance, but only through prayer and faith.

George Müller is said to have read the Bible more than two hundred times, many of which on his knees. Before his death, asked by a reporter what he would still like to do, he, on his knees, replied, "To read more of the Bible because I know too little about the excellence of Christ."

WHAT AGE ARE U THE MOST PRODUCTIVE?

A study found that the most productive age in human life in the U.S. is 60-70 years old. The 2nd is from 70-80. The 3rd is from 50-60.

The average age of NOBEL PRIZE winners is 62.

Of CEOs of prominent companies is 63 years.

Of PASTORS of the 100 largest churches in the US, 71.

And of the POPES, it is 76 years.

A book review also published in N.Engl.J.Med. found that at age 60, you reach the TOP of your potential and this continues into your 80s.

Therefore, if you are 60-70 or 70-80 you MAY have the BEST and 2nd best opportunity in your life to produce meaningful accomplishments that can leave a lasting positive legacy (Bob Fiety)

Committed Christians regardless of age should seek to make an impact for God's kingdom in this life. We live our lives in light of eternity because that will last forever. All earthly accomplishments and wealth will burn up on the day of judgment if not done for Christ (I Cor. 3:1-10). What we weave in time, we will wear in eternity!

The Apostle Paul said it this way:

"Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Cor. 4:16-18)
