Stars of yesterday, guiding us today.
This session we learned about the Hijrah and were introduced to the Ansar — the incredible helpers and hosts we’ll be focusing on all term 🤍 Their support, sacrifice, and brotherhood still light the way.
To wrap it up, we got hands-on with a bean salad cooking activity 🥗— learning, teamwork, and a little kitchen fun all in one.

Due to the weather, Noor Kids Club will be canceling our first day tomorrow.

We’ll be adding an extra day at the end of the session to make up for it so the kids still get the full experience.

Thank you for your understanding 🤍 Stay safe!

Week 4 at Noor Kids Club 🌿 | "In the Shade of the Prophet ﷺ"

This week, we learned about one of the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ closest family members and companions — Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) — who grew up in the very home of the Prophet ﷺ and followed in his footsteps, quite literally! 🕊️

🎨 Morning Activity: Our little artists tried their hand at a follow-along drawing — just like Ali (RA) tried to mirror the character and actions of the Prophet ﷺ in his life. A fun way to learn about imitation through admiration! 🖌️

🥣 Cooking Time: We layered up some delicious yogurt parfaits — complete with fruits, granola, and a sprinkle of chocolate chips! A tasty way to practice sharing and patience. 🍓🍫

📚 Halaqa Highlight: We dove into the story of Ali (RA) and his special upbringing in the Prophet’s ﷺ household. A reminder of how powerful it is to learn by example, especially from those we love most. 🌟

Week 3 at Noor Kids Club 💫 | "The Best Friend"

This week, we explored what it truly means to be a good friend — and who better to learn from than the beautiful bond between the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr (RA)? 🌿✨

📝 Morning Activity: Our young learners illustrated and wrote about the traits of a great friend — from honesty and loyalty to kindness and trust.

🧠 STEM Challenge: Teams took on the Friendship Bridge challenge! Using limited materials, they built bridges strong enough to hold weight — a powerful reminder that strong friendships are built on teamwork and trust. 💪🌉

📖 Halaqa Highlight: We reflected on the life of Abu Bakr (RA) — his quiet strength, unwavering support for the Prophet ﷺ, and the deep bond they shared. A true role model of friendship and faith. 🤍

🌸 Week 2: The Best of Women 🌸
This week, our students reflected on the beautiful qualities of a Muslim woman through creative and heartfelt activities!

🧕✨ Morning Reflection: Using women-shaped cutouts, students illustrated and wrote traits that make a Muslim woman beloved to Allah (SWT).

💐 Art Activity: We made yarn flower bouquets to honor our mothers — inspired by the strength and grace of Khadija (RA), the Mother of the Believers.

📖 Halaqa Highlight: We learned about the incredible life of Khadija (RA) — her character, her unwavering support for the Prophet ﷺ, and her pivotal role in early Islam.

May we raise and become women who walk in her footsteps. 🤍

✨ Noor Kids Club Recap! ✨
This week’s theme: Stars of Yesterday Guiding Us Today 🌟 — we introduced the idea that the companions of the Prophet ﷺ are like stars—just as stars guide us in the night, the Sahaba guide us with their example in life 💫

The kids got creative with star-shaped turkey sandwiches 🥪 and built their own edible telescopes 🔭 (yum + fun = win!).
