Suspected overdoses jumped 42 percent in May, data obtained by Post shows. Fueling the surge are isolation, economic devastation and disruptions to the drug trade.

Good Day Forever Family! Hope this finds all of you well. We’ve been given the okay to resume CR Meetings this Thursday, May 21. There will be a few modifications to our ‘normal’ meeting: We will have NO meal. Instead, there will be a “coffee fellowship” beginning at 6:00. Meeting will start at the normal time: 6:45 p.m. Since all areas that we use will need to be sanitized and disinfected after our use, we will confine ourselves to a couple rooms. Coffee Hour will be held upstairs in the Little Rock room (beside the Transformation Station); our Large Group meeting will be in the Transformation Station, which allows room to spread out. Small Group meetings will take place in the same two rooms – women in one, men the other; OR small group meetings can take place outside – which we encourage. We WILL NOT offer Celebration Place for the younger children, but will have The Landing for the teens. The Teens will have their lesson outdoors. The children’s play area downstairs are off limits per the church. In the event of rain, the teens can use our CR room downstairs, but will be required to stay in the room and not permitted to run around the downstairs area of the church. We will make adjustments as needed. Lastly, we ask that everyone enter the building through the upstairs entrance. We will not have the downstairs entrance unlocked. Sorry for the rules, but be mindful: EVERYTHING WE TOUCH AND USE MUST BE CLEANED AND DISENFECTED BEFORE WE LEAVE. So, the less the better.
I’m working on putting together a lesson that will be a compilation of all the lessons we had before our meeting went dark – basically, Steps 1-7 in one lesson.
Hope to see everyone Thursday. We’ve got some hurdles to deal with due to the present situation, but we can do it! Thanks for all you do! Look forward to seeing everyone!

After consultation today with Scott and Senior Pastor Steve, we've decided that pausing our CR meeting for the next 2 weeks is warranted. We are heeding the most recent CDC recommendations of no group gatherings of 10 or more. We encourage all to use our Thursday night meeting time to pray, journal, do step work, and reach out to each other from home. As our recovery is a spiritual battle, so is this time of fear and uncertainty. God is still in control and Jesus is still victorious!
We love you all and will keep you posted.
Please notify any CR participants you may know.
Thank you and God Bless you all!
