About The Ministry Center
The Laurens Baptist Association in Dublin, Georgia has opened multiple ministry centers to help ease the needs of families during this difficult economic time. One is located in the old school building at 300 North Calhoun Street (near Stubbs Park). We provide food and clothing based on need and try to show the love of Christ while we meet physical needs. The food and clothing is provided through donations from our Associational Churches, individuals and local businesses. We are a non-profit, 501-3C organization and although we do qualify for some food from the Middle Georgia Food Bank, we operate mostly from donations.
If you would like to help us minister to those less fortunate, we would thankfully accept any donations. We serve a large homeless population, so canned goods, instant, packaged food, and minimal preparation items are especially helpful. Thank you so much for your help and support and may God bless you.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:35-40)
