St. John's United Church of Christ, Du Quoin Whoever you are and wherever you are in life's journey, you are welcome here at St. John's United Church of Christ. Church begins at 10:30 am.

After a brief message from Pastor Earl, our youth goes back for Sunday School during the service. We have a choir and a children's choir, we have Friday Fun Nights every couple of months for our youth (and our entire congregation is even involved in some of them)! Come check us out on our page (St. John's UCC Youth Group), or come check us out in person!

Dear Church Members and Friends,

St John’s UCC will be celebrating our 150th birthday on Sunday October 4, 2026. 🎂 The planning committee is asking that anyone with photographs (Baptism, Confirmation, Wedding, church gatherings and so on), and/or great stories or memories that they would like to share, please send copies to:

St John’s UCC, 20 S. Hickory St, Du Quoin, IL 62832
by September 1st so we can get a slide show presentation done and work on displays to have out that Sunday. You can also email them to [email protected] or send them via instant messenger to Sarah Jeanette.

Stay tuned for further details as they become available. Mark your calendars for October 4th and come celebrate with us! Lunch will be served after the service. And I hear there might be cake!
