This past Wednesday was my last official day as pastor of the First Christian Church in Du Quoin, IL. These past four years have been a blessing in my life and I am a better person for being here and serving this community of faith that was planted here 168 years ago. Our building is having it's centennial anniversary today! Time flies when you are doing God's work!

We are celebrating 100 years in our building this weekend! As a part of that--we are bringing back the tradition of a live nativity scene. We don't know how cozy it will be--but it will definitely be LIVE, and a blessing for all. Come see us, Saturday, Dec. 6, from 5-7 p.m. at our church, 312 E. Main St. (next to the post office!)
