2026 SUMMER UPDATE

Greetings and much love to our Lighthouse family and friends. It is our hope that you all are having a wonderful summer.

During our recent LBCC Board Meetings, one of our Directors shared a devotion from Romans 2:4. The theme of the message, the Holy Spirit, laid on his heart was the goodness of God; and
are we allowing His goodness to lead us to repentance. He shared how we need to continually reflect on how God is faithful from the beginning to the end of time. We see this in Deuteronomy 7:9. God has always kept His Word and His promises which is something we can hold onto amid whatever we go through. God’s love and mercy is always towards us as we read in Psalm 145:8,9. Our eyes, attention, and focus must be on His covenantal faithfulness and the character of God. As we are instructed to do in Psalm 34:8, we are called to behold God’s goodness in all things. Allow Him to draw us in this way. As we draw near to God by taking steps towards Him, He will meet us. As we behold His goodness and His character, we will be transformed into His likeness. The more we see Him, the more we want to be like Him. Keep looking at Jesus. Keep looking at His character. We closed out this devotional time with a time of prayer. May this reminder encourage you all as it did us.
