Today we honored 2026 graduates. Pastor Don Chase presented each graduate with an engraved Bible from the church in recognition of their acheivements. A PRAYER FOR MEMORIAL DAY. Dear God, we thank you for the freedom you have given to us, and for the price that was paid by Christ so that we could live free. We remember today. The cost of it all. The great sacrifice for freedom.
We thank you for the brave men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, so courageously for our nation. We ask for your presence and blessing over them and their families. We pray that you would bless them and encircle them with your peace. We pray for your great favor and goodness to be evident in their lives.
Please be with all those who wear the uniform, who serve our communities and nation every single day. We ask that you provide your protection, that you would be their guiding force who leads the way, for you are the Truth, you are the Way, you are the Light.

So proud of our own Grant Countian medical student at UK, Hunter Colson, at the center of the cutting edge CATS AI program developed for tutoring medical students.

Hunter is featured in this report on the innovative use of CATS AI at the University of Kentucky.

Through CATS AI, UK is helping faculty, staff and students engage with artificial intelligence confidently and responsibly.

Join us this Sunday at 10 am for our weekly worship service. Pastor Don Chase will bring a message on "The Gate That Gives Life" based on Jesus ' story in Luke 10, declaring he is the Gatekeeper, the Good Shepherd who can lead us to heaven as well as to a better life now.
We will be singing traditional hymns, engaging in prayer, praise, worship, fellowship and serving communion.

Enjoy the “Disciples Vibe” playlist.

What does it mean to be a Disciple? This is the question that a group of Young Adult Disciples wrestled with for several weeks recently as a part of the Young Adult Book Club hosted through the office of the General Minister and President. Our conversation partner was Terri Hord-Owen’s book Staying at the Table: Being the Church We Say We Are. The book asks hard questions about who we are called to be as Disciples of Christ and challenges us to embody who we claim to be. The Young adults who gathered to craft this group found themselves discussing the church's present needs while also envisioning its future. What came through in their insights was that they see the church as a potent vessel for good in the world.

In an effort to lift up their voice, below is a Spotify playlist created by the group in an effort to use music to communicate the “Disciples Vibes” that unite us all in faithful community. May it inspire us to lift all voices and sing of the better future these young adults envision. May it encourage us to ask ourselves, what does it mean to be a disciple?
