Saint Sophia Orthodox Church

Saint Sophia Orthodox Church The Orthodox Church is the original New Testament Church founded by Jesus through His Holy Apostles. Please come visit us soon! It is Orthodox, but not Jewish.

Saint Sophia Orthodox Church is an Orthodox Christian parish right here in Dripping Springs. The Holy Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is Catholic, but not Roman. It isn’t non-denominational – it is pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, bled and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago. We welcome you to join us

for worship and learn more about the Church that gave us the New Testament. We are under the authority of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch (where believers were first called Christians) and here in America function under the protection of the Self-Governed Antiochian Archdiocese of North America and, locally, as a parish of the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America. All services are in English and visitors are always welcome!
