Tomorrow, Foundation Church celebrates eight years.

Not eight years of having everything figured out, but eight years of God's faithfulness through ordinary people who kept showing up, serving, praying, and making room for others. Our 8th Anniversary Celebration is tomorrow, September 6 from 9:30am to noon.

Decide you are actually going to do what this book says, and it is going to be a wild ride.

Your life will be blessed. The blessings just are not money, and they are not easy.

They are what you need. They will fill your soul.

"It is written."

Three words. That is how Jesus answered the devil in the wilderness, every single time.

Not "I feel like." Not "somebody told me once." He fought back with what God had already said.

You don't need something else. God still speaks through what was spoken.

The Bible is a historical document, AND it is more than that. God spoke, and what he spoke is still speaking.

That is why a verse written thousands of years ago can meet you in the middle of a hard week and not feel old at all.

Scripture is not a stack of facts to collect. It is God at work on you, changing what you want and who you are becoming.

Jesus told his disciples to abide in his word, not just agree with it.

Time in the Bible is time under God's hand.

Live relationally. Love intentionally. Serve practically. Share passionately.

These words have helped shape Foundation Church from the beginning. Eight years later, they still describe the church we want to be: rooted in Scripture and present in our community. Our 8th Anniversary Celebration is September 6.

Some decisions cannot be walked back.

God’s love is not a feeling. It gives. And what it gave cannot be revoked or returned. Jesus cannot be ungiven.

It’s like a face tattoo. Things have been set in motion that cannot be stopped.
