Society of St. Vincent de Paul
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says: “…where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Is there a family you know who needs assistance? Please call the Society of St. Vincent de Paul so that together we help them to know that indeed God is in the midst of them.
For financial assistance, call 512-859-3740, leave a message and a Vincentian will return your call. We provide food, assistance with rent or utilities to neighbors in our serving area.
We welcome anyone to our food pantry located at the Parish Hall, open on Mondays from 9:30am -11:00am & 5:30pm-7:00pm. All are welcome. Current donation needs are: canned chicken, canned Rotel, cereal, no bean chili, canned green beans, and bags of pinto beans.

Diocesan conference on Our Day of Guadalupe
Bishop Daniel E. Garcia invites the entire diocese to the Diocesan Conference on Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sept. 11-12 at St. William Parish in Round Rock. Participants can choose from three sessions. Each session will explore the meaning and evangelizing power of the symbols found in San Juan Diego's Tilma. Additionally, there will be group discussions on how to apply and share God's message through Our Lady of Guadalupe within our communities. The presenter is the worldwide recognized expert, Msgr. Eduardo Chávez. This event marks the beginning of the Diocese of Austin's preparation for the 500th anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe's apparition in 1531.

Join us as we rediscover The Message God sent to the church through Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, Protectress of the Unborn, and Star of the New Evangelization.

There are three formation sessions to choose from:
Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. William, Round Rock
English presentation for priests, deacons, and staff of the diocese and parishes.

Sept. 5-6, 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Our Gospel this Sunday on forgiveness points to the fact that from the beginning, members of the church disagreed on issues. The teaching on prayer reminds us that Christ must always be at the center of our lives and hearts. The myriad of ministries; the numbers of religious congregations and lay associations remind us that there are many ways to live the Gospel. In the midst of our differences, our faith and humility call us to focus on Christ who is the truth for all. How can you show forth Christ’s reconciling love this week?

Nuestro Evangelio sobre el perdón de este domingo apunta hacia el hecho de que desde el principio los miembros de la iglesia estuvieron en desacuerdo sobre algunos temas. La enseñanza sobre la oración nos recuerda que Cristo siempre debe de estar en el centro de nuestras vidas y corazones. La esencia de los ministerios; el número de congregaciones religiosas y asociaciones laica nos recuerdan que hay muchas maneras de vivir el Evangelio. En medio de nuestras diferencias, la fe y la humildad nos llaman a enfocarnos en Cristo quien es la verdad para todos ¿Cómo puede mostrar a los demás el amor reconciliador de Cristo esta semana?

Texas Trotters
The Texas Trotters is a Church organization of seniors that meet after the monthly First Friday Mass in the Room 1. We have a sandwich lunch, celebrate birthdays, and plan for activities in the local area. All are welcome.
