TEAMS of Our Lady is a worldwide lay movement within the Catholic Church which aims to help married couples grow in their love of Christ and each other, recognizing that Christian marriage is a precious gift that needs to be nurtured. A team consists of five to seven married couples and if possible, a spiritual counselor, which could be a Priest. They meet monthly in each other's home. The team shares a simple potluck meal, prayer, sharing on the endeavors, and a study topic, with a family/marriage/spiritual focus. The endeavors are the heart of the spirit of TEAMS. The team becomes a close community that can inspire one another through their living examples of faith and share with one another their struggles and successes on their way to holiness.

June 13-14, 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In today’s Gospel, we are encouraged to be fearless in the face of opposition. We have a responsibility to contribute to the good of society in a spirit of truth, justice, solidarity and freedom. Even when others attempt to thwart our efforts to build up a just society, we must remember that we are the Lord’s own. Even as those against us may attempt to destroy our bodies as we endeavor to develop a just society, we must remember that because we are the Lord’s own, they will not be able to destroy our souls. We must continue to trust in God and proclaim our faith boldly. In life, as in death, we belong to the Lord.
