You don’t have to carry it anymore.

That burden you’ve been carrying.
That worry that keeps you up at night.
That hurt you haven’t told anyone about.
That situation you just can’t seem to fix.

Come tomorrow and leave it ALL at the altar. 🙌🏻

Jesus is waiting for you. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to clean yourself up first. Just come.

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 KJV

There’s still room at the altar. There’s still power in prayer. And there’s still a Savior who cares about every burden you carry.

Come expecting. Come needing. Just come.

We’ll meet you at the doors at Drift Pentecostal Church.

Yesterday, Bro. Shawn preached from Isaiah chapter 43, and there was a word in that chapter that somebody needs to hear today:

FEAR NOT.

When Isaiah wrote this, God’s people were surrounded by gloom and doom. The Babylonians were coming. They were going to be taken out of their homeland and carried into exile. Everything they knew was about to change.

Their situation didn't look good.

But GOD WAS STILL GOD!

God said:
“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
- Isaiah 43:1 KJV

Maybe your life doesn't look like it used to.
Maybe you're praying, but it seems like the harder you pray, the worse things get.
Maybe you're seeking God, but you don't feel what you used to feel. You don't hear what you used to hear. You don't feel those Holy Ghost chills running up and down your spine.
And you're wondering, “God, where are You?”

Can I tell you something?
HE'S STILL THERE!

Just because you can't feel Him doesn't mean He's gone.
Just because you can't see Him moving doesn't mean He's not working.

One touch from the Master's hand can turn everything around!

Don't look at the size of your problem, look at the size of your God!

God told them:
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned...”
- Isaiah 43:2 KJV

Notice He didn't say IF you pass through the waters, He said WHEN.

You're going to have some waters.
You're going to have some rivers.
You're going to have some fire.

But He's still God.
He's still on the throne.
He's still working.
And He's still WITH YOU!

There are times when we pray, “Lord, if it be Your will…” and we may not understand when the answer is no. But even when He doesn’t do what we asked, He is still able.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said it best:

“But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods…” — Daniel 3:18 (KJV)

Our faith cannot be based on what God does for us. Our faith has to be rooted in WHO He is.

If He heals, He is able.
If He delivers, He is able.
If He makes a way, He is able.
And if He doesn't, He is STILL able!

God is sovereign. God is faithful. God is good, even when we don't understand His plan.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. And when the answer isn't what you hoped for, lift your hands and say:

“I still know my God is able!” 🙌

Before you lay your head down tonight, pray for somebody.

Pray for the person God lays on your heart.
Pray for your family.
Pray for your church.
Pray for the person who may be smiling on the outside but crying on the inside.

We could ALL use prayer. 🙏

Can I remind somebody today that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! 🙌

You may be walking through a battle that nobody else understands. You may feel like you're standing by yourself, but look around and remember, THE LORD IS STILL THERE!

The storm may have shaken you, but it didn't destroy you.

Why?

BUT THE LORD.
BUT THE LORD KEPT ME.
BUT THE LORD STRENGTHENED ME.
BUT THE LORD MADE A WAY.
BUT THE LORD NEVER LEFT ME!

So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep holding on. Don't give up now!

“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” - Psalm 118:6 (KJV)

YOU MAY BE IN THE BATTLE, BUT THE LORD IS STANDING WITH YOU!

And as long as Jesus is standing beside you, YOU'VE GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MAKE IT THROUGH!
