Join us in lifting Landon Samons up in prayer. We serve a God who is still in the miracle-working business. Time and time again, we have witnessed the mighty hand of Jesus move in impossible situations, and we are believing Him to do it again.

Yesterday, Bro. Shawn preached on the waiting season, and the account of Jericho in Joshua chapter 6.

The Lord told Joshua to have the people march around the walls of Jericho for seven days. Day 1 came and went, nothing happened. Day 2, 3, and 4, still nothing. Day 5 and 6, no sign that the walls would fall.

Yet they kept marching.

They trusted God's promise even when they couldn't see the results.

Then on the 7th day, they marched as God commanded, shouted, blew the ram's horns, and the walls came crashing down just as the Lord had said.

How many times do we give up on Monday because we don't see Sunday's miracle? How often do we quit in the waiting season because nothing seems to be happening?

The truth is that God is working on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday too. Just because we can't see movement doesn't mean He isn't moving. The same God who brought down the walls of Jericho is still faithful today.

Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep marching.

Your 7th day may be closer than you think.

Too many are living like the grave still has power over them, but Jesus didn’t call us to stay bound by shame.

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;” — Ephesians 2:1 KJV

We were not made to dwell in defeat, guilt, or the things God already forgave us for. We were called by name, washed by grace, and raised to walk in newness of life.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

So why make a bed in shame when the fountain of God’s grace is still flowing? You are His. You were made for more. ✝️

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a family cookout. Today we honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus Christ:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
— John 15:13 KJV

As we gather with family today, let us never forget those who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. May we pray for the families of the fallen, thank God for our nation, and remember that true freedom was also purchased on Calvary through Jesus Christ.
