Jeremiah 2:13
For my people have committed two evils they have forsaken me the fountain of living water and hewed for themselves out cisterns that’s can hold no water.

If we have allowed our jobs, our recreational activities, our families, our church attendance, our reading materials, our internet surfing,tv watching,our sins to bring us more excitement than the word of God we have become like broken cisterns that can hold no water.

While we should go to church and it is ok to read books magazines enjoy our family and our children and of course we have to work jobs and watching tv and internet is not bad depending on what you are watch your watching or doing online; if all of these things have become or brings you more joy and excitement than reading the word of God and learning of him then maybe we have become broken cisterns that can hold no water. The very water we need to quench our spiritual thirst to help us make it through dry seasons hard times.
The very well we need to bring us life and lift us above our worries and our burdens and the cares of this life could it be we have forsaken it. It doesn’t excite us like it used to? We hurry through it not mediating on what it says to say we have read it. If we go to church and we are just looking to get our name checked off we were there or to visit with the people, or just so we can take a sip of what the preacher gives us have we turned from the true fountain of living water.

Is that sip enough to carry you through hard times dry times?

No the word of God said we are broken. We have lost our excitement of drinking from him learning of him partaking from Him. He calls us broken he says what little water we get will not last. He said all who are thirsty come to me and drink come to me I will quench your thirst. He has so much more he wants us to know he wants us to be full running over. He wants us to be rivers of living water flowing out to others in need who are dry broken in need of a fountain.

Like Jesus told the woman at the well if you knew who it was that ask you for a drink you would have asked me.
Are you going to the well are you resting on it enjoying it’s cool relief from the things life throws at you. Are you drinking deeply letting it wash you refresh you cleanse you.
Don’t hurry when you drink sit back relax and listen let it soothe and sink deep saturating every part of your soul and mind. Then in dry times hard times weary times you will have a reservoir to draw from and you will have enough to share with others who need a drink.

This fountain never shall run dry
The word of God is your source.

I was just pondering tonight on the things taking place in our nation sickness killings hate anger fear worry fighting with friends neighbors family. Fighting over who we will vote for and disagreeing with those that don’t take our same or have the same views we do. My heart is very heavy and I just wondered what my Father in Heaven is feeling. I know it’s not worry hate fear he is not wringing his hands tonight wondering what to do he has already taken action and his will will take place. He is working in all these situations. His plan was put in motion two thousand years ago and it is going forward it shall come to pass. My heart is not heavy from worry it’s heavy because of thinking about the scripture that says Hell-enlarges herself daily. And the sad part is that God sent his Son Jesus into the world not to condemn the world but to save it. His arms are still out stretched calling for all who will believe in Him to accept him and be saved. Saved from what you might ask saved from trouble? No because he says you will have troubles in this life. Saved from wars? No he said there will be wars and rumors of wars until the end of the world. Saved from what our sins ourselves our thoughts our sickness our will and our ways and take up our cross and follow him. And from our fears our worries our anxiety’s yes from Hell. When I see what’s taking place in our world I could not imagine spending eternity in Hell. So much unrest in this world and Hell will be worse. In this mess yes you could be shot killed and death will give you an escape from all of this. But if you don’t know Jesus you will spend eternity in a much worse place. With no escape no death to remove you from it. A place where there is no love no joy no peace no relief. And worse yet separation from a God who sent his Son to die for your sins so you would have a place to look forward to where there will be no sickness no death no tears no wars not hate no fear just peace forever more. It appears there is no love for mankind in the world but there is. It appears there are no good people left but they are. It may seem no one understands but they do Nothing to look forward yes there are HisComing him splitting the sky to take his children home to live with him forever more. No darkness no sadness no death no grave yards what a day that’s going to be. Love is here because he is love and he lives in the hearts of his children therefore we too should show love. He gave this answer when asked what shall I do to inherit eternal life. He said love the Lord your God with all you heart with all your soul with all your might and the second command Love your neighbor as your self. A lot of people saying they love him ok not doubting your testimony but when it comes to the second one yea I’ll question it Love your neighbor as yourself. Seems like a lot of people don’t love themselves because they are unable to love their neighbors. And the word says how can you say you love Him whom you have not seen and you have no love for those you have seen. Whose your neighbor the one that lives beside you? No he said when you take care of the sick the poor those hurting wounded hungry when you have done it to the least of these you have shown love to me. Love is the answer. We are fighting each other and his word says you wrestle not against flesh and blood man kind Red Yellow Black or White but against powers and principles in the air. Who is the prince of the air Satan and his fallen angels are causing all this and he is sitting back laughing enlarging the place he will live forever making room for those who are allowing him to blind them to who their real enemy is. Pointing fingers at our brothers our sisters and away from him. Pointing his finger at politicians and leaders. I am not a Republican nor am I a Democrat I register Independent I make my choice based on the word of God by which I stand and do my best to follow failing sometimes miserable. I’ve let him down more than I like to admit but I will admit it. But all this we see will one day pass away all will be gone no more White House no more politics no more anything that can be seen with the natural eye gone destroyed. Thank God it will be gone no more stealing our children ra**ng them killing them no ore killing our brothers and sisters because of their skin color no more wars no more no more. Don’t know about anyone on my face book page but I’m looking toward heaven this is not my home we are all just passing through. Death will come to each one of us. And my heart is heavy Hell is enlarging her self daily. I’ve lost family who have gone on I can’t wait to see I’m looking forward to seeing them and living where death and hate and sickness will be no more but the one I want to see most is Jesus who thought I was worth dying for who loved me when I didn’t love myself. Love is alive in the world as long as his people are here as long as I am here cause he lives in me. As long as his Holy Spirit is here love is here for he is love pure unadulterated Love. If this world looks like this now sure don’t want to be left behind when he comes and removes all the love out of it when I see what I see now it’s going to be unimaginable horrible. Not on a soap box tonight don’t have a fight to win because he has already Jesus already won it for me. I love you all tonight I can truly say that with a pure heart and I love myself for who he has made me to be. I’m not perfect but one day one day I will be because I will be just like him. Not bragging on myself nothing to brag or glory in no good in me but him all the Glory belongs to him. There are many denominations in this world I’m just glad he said there is one body one church I belong to that church I am a Christian and not ashamed to say so. Yes my heart is truly heavy and if you belong to him you are his child yours should be too. Pray for revival pray for restoration pray for his people pray for the lost pray for the saved pray for our leaders pray for your neighbor pray for our children pray for the sick pray for our Pastors pray for your families pray for the fruits of the spirit to manifest in our hearts which are love joy peace patience long suffering kindness faith ask for them cry out for them meekness we need them in this hour.We need God not in American we need him to fill our hearts our lives. This war folks really has nothing to do with us it is a war between light and darkness good and evil God and Satan and I’ve read the book I know how it ends God wins his people win he is our hope he is our only hope. Have a blessed night I love you all may he give you sweet sleep meet every need you have and may you rise by his mercy and grace tomorrow well rested full of hope full of energy.

P. S. The first step to Love is forgiveness toward others he said if you do not forgive others their sins against you I will not forgive you yours.

Our soul ( mind will and emotions) are the wilderness places the dry places he longs to fill. Our hearts our souls these are the parts he wants to fill. Through Praise and by faith can we allow him in. Praise opens the gates of our heart for Him to fill us. His Joy then will become our strength. Praise him in the good the bad and the ugly so he may come in and fill the temple with all his Glory. So we will not block His path or thwart His purposes. Bless the Lord o my soul all that is within me praise His Holy name. Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits, he heals all my diseases and forgives all my iniquities. Praise his Holy name.

The Secret place
Ps. 143:9
Deliver me oh Lord from mine enemies: I flee to thee to hide. I take cover under your wings.
Ps. 143:12
Quicken me oh Lord for thy name sake: for thy righteousness sake bring my soul out of trouble. ( My mind willl and emotions)
Ps. 32:7
Thou art my hiding place thou shalt persevere me from trouble, thou shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
I will sing unto thee Lord for He hath triumphed gloriously the horse and the rider he hath thrown into the sea.
The Lord is my strength and my song and he is become my salvation he is my God and I will prepare him a place to inhabit my Father my God I will praise him.
Ps. 31:20
Thous shall hide them in the secret place of thy presence from the plots of man,thou shall keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.

In a world where surveillance is ever increasing , privacy and safety is a hard thing to find. We can’t be completely safe in our homes, at work, at school and even in our churches. But we have a place we can go to that will provide comfort for our souls. When we feel surrounded by troubles worries, remember this; He said I am thy hiding place call out to me and I will protect you from trouble I will surround you with a song of deliverance.

One of the best ways to draw upon his strength is to sing praises to Him which also guarantees His presences. So when trouble comes and are weighing heavily upon you break forth in praise and worship. Worship Him in songs and shouts and whispers. The darkness will flee from your soul(mind,will and emotions) and your praises will invite me into your awareness,brightening the atmosphere around you. Problems will fade as you worship him your awareness of his presence will be sure it will bring you strength and will fill you with joy.
When you praise me in the hardest of days you and I are both blessed; my presence strengthens you and your praise shows me you trust me. So come close and let me hide you in the secret place of my presences.

And remember I will never leave you nor forsake you but I will be with you all the days of thy life even to the ends of the world.

Cherish my Words

Ps. 18:28
For thou will light my candle:(lamp) the Lord God will lighten my darkness.

A lamp is the symbol of guidance, a persons soul ( mind, will, and emotions) is the Lords lamp. The word searches the entire inter being; and His word also gives light for your steps ahead.
My children obey my words. Do not wander in disbelief and darkness but let the scriptures shine as a light unto thy path. Without it you shall not know the way. My word shall be life to you for my word is given for your health and well being and preservation. They will quard you from folly and guide you away from danger.

Hide my word in your heart and make them the law of your life. Cherish my words and take them not lightly not even the least of them. I have not given them to bind you but to bring you into the life of greatness joy and true liberty.
I have ask you to give so that I could bless you more.
I have challenged you to pray so that I may respond and help you.
I have asked you to rejoice in order to keep you from being swallowed up by anxiety’s.
I have asked you to be humble to protect you from the calamities that fall on the proud. I have asked you to forgive so that your heart would be fit to receive my forgiveness. I have asked you not to love the world for I would have you released from unnecessary entanglement free to follow me.
Sanctification is accomplished in no one by accident. Learn my ways and put them to practice consistently if you desire to see progress in the growth of your soul (mind will and emotions).
Holiness is not a feeling—-it is the end product of obedience. Purity is not a gift—-it is the result of repentance and serious pursuit of God. France J. Roberts

As you read Gods promises over and over the word will increase your faith and erase any doubt from your heart. Then apply your faith in Him not yourself your abilities but to Gods promises his healing promises and they will become life to you and health to all your flesh. The word of God are Gods medicine. You don’t have to be concerned of an overdose. The more you take the better you are.

Devotions for today

KEEP YOUR FOCUS
Choosing the path of righteous is the only way of divine blessings. The path may at times look rugged but any other way you go you shall find disappointment and frustration of your soul. Weariness will over take you on the smoothness of roads if it is not ordained by the Father. Do not let your doubts deceive you nor your fear detain you. In the center of His will you will find glorious victories and recompense for exceeding every sacrifice made. Obedience brings joy to the heart. We can not be moved by the applause of others not can we let their scorns be any consequences to us. His approval is all we need and should want and should be enough and without it we cannot have satisfaction and any other is not worthy of our pursuit. He is ever near to give us support encouragement so nothing will warrant fear they shall all banish as we obey.
Ps. 6:11 make known to me the path of life with you for in your presence there is fullness of joy and at this right hand are pleasures evermore.
Num. 6:25 He will make His face to shine upon me and he will be gracious to me.
Jn. 10:17
His sheep know his voice and he knows them and they will follow him.
Phil 4:8
He is true, he is noble,He is just,He is pure,He is lovely, He is praiseworthy theses are all good reports. Mediate on Him and His virtues. He will keep in perfect peace he whose mind is stayed on Him.
Look for the good things He has made and is doing in the world there are a vista of bright beauty as well as dark ugly wasteland. When your focus is on the right way you are encouraged and strengthen. He created you with a great compacity to enjoy beauty and goodness. Your soul resonates with these blessings and you draw strength from them.
Yes you will encounter things that make you cringe things that are ugly and wrong but do not let them become your focus. Remember I am near you with you I am listening and watching. Hear my voice saying look the right way there is still beauty in the world and in the unseen. This world is in a fallen condition but He said we are not of this world this is not our home we are just passing through. We all have a longing for perfection but we will not find it in this world. He is our fulfillment and the deep longing we have within let him fill it. He said I am the way the truth and the life he is the perfect way and He is perfect in every way as we follow Him. He said I will never leave you nor forsake you but I would be with you always even to the end of this world. As you walk with Him through this sin-stained world look the right way keep your focus on Him and the joy of His presences will shine upon you and upon your face and your heart and you will become a light in the darkness of this world. Let your light shine so others may see Me and I will draw them to me. As you lift me up did I not say if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto myself. Lift me up as you walk knowing I am near watching working moving. I need you to adjust you sight regain your focus. I have surrounded you with beauty take care not to miss it. And remember all is well I will bless you and keep you my keeping power is sure it can not fail nor will it. I can provide shelter in all these storms and give security but your security of that shelter must be sure.
Oh my children say all is well say it until you know it all is well. Keep your focus let me shine and speak all is well!
