Today we are looking at Tuesday, which is the third day of this week, and there was a lot going on! Jesus spent much of the day teaching about a variety of topics, and also offering condemnation to the Pharisees for being hypocrites in their faith. Later that day and evening, Jesus teaches the disciples from the Mount of Olives about the events in the future. He is trying to prepare his friends for the sadness that is to come.

Today, on the Feast of the Annunciation, we remember how powerful a YES to God’s plan can be. Centuries ago a young Mary trusted in God, said Yes and became the most Blessed of Mother’s.

34 years ago,on March 25th, the “YES”, of one of our own young parishioners, to trusting in God and trusting in the prayers of our Parish and community and through the intercession of now St. Leonie Aviat, turned miraculous. God works miracles in so many ways. Trust in Him.
