“The earth laughs in flowers.”

We could not let today pass without sharing this past Sunday’s church flowers, and wishing Melinda a “Happy Birthday.”

The weekly flower arrangements, seasonal decorations, and special events do not go unnoticed. It is a wonderful thing when people use their talents faithfully. We appreciate Melinda, Bobby, and their family so much, and we are grateful to have many such behind-the-scenes servants in our congregation.

Good Sunday morning, y’all!
We look forward to a great morning at Lebanon with Garner Goode as our guest speaker.

We will gather at 9 AM for Sunday School classes followed by our worship time at 10 AM. Garner will present the latest on the Honduras work to our adult/teenage classes during Sunday School. Reminder our 5 PM discussion class WILL NOT meet tonight, but will resume next Sunday.

Lord willing, Garner Goode will be with us this Sunday to share about the ongoing work we share in alongside the Hillsboro congregation ministering to our brothers and sisters in Honduras.

Garner will offer a report on this long-term work and encourage us to look for more ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus right where we are.

Sunday School will meet at 9 AM with worship to follow at 10 AM. There will be no in-person 5 PM discussion Bible study this week (6/7).

Come and hear more about how our congregation and sister churches are seeking to serve while pointing ever to Christ.

Reminder for this Sunday 🗓️✝️⛪️

The recent rains have brought so much green 🌳🌱🍃Storms can be scary and, as we know all too well after 2021, terribly destructive, but those same storms also bring the rains that renew life.

We cannot stop the storms from coming, but we can gain wisdom as we pass through the hard, trying challenges of our lives. May we pay attention to the lessons life’s storms can teach us as we walk by faith.

Happy Sunday morning, y’all!
Thankful for the rain this week as we finish out May strong.

We look forward to gathering today at 9 AM for our Sunday School classes for all ages followed by worship time at 10 AM. Our 5 PM discussion class tonight will meet as well, Lord willing.
