So glad to help out with FCA this morning at dresden_middle_school. Molly and Maggie came over from the high school to share about being encouragers and the fact everyone can make a difference.

We are blessed with great young people who look to encourage their peers. Their example should make us all want to share the love from Lebanon this week!

Lebanon, with several other congregations and individuals in the US and Honduras, recently partnered to help in the purchase of a vehicle for Tomas and Rosario Ochoa who work with rural congregations in Honduras. With increasing age and health issues, this couple needed a reliable vehicle for travel and transporting people and materials.

Several of our members who have traveled to Honduras over the years have gotten to know this godly couple and see the work their firsthand.

We received word last night the vehicle has been purchased, and wanted to pass on the Ochoa family's thanks for this tool to bless them and their ongoing ministry.

Yesterday, we began a new series from John’s gospel focused on conversations Jesus shared with people who were searching for God. When we read John 3 as Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, we encounter a beautiful explanation of Christ’s mission and motivation.

September is here, and we are looking forward to a new series of Sunday AM lessons at Lebanon.

We hope you will share in our Sunday worship as we overhear conversations from John’s gospel that center on Jesus’s identity and purpose in coming into the world.

Lord willing, we will begin this Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 10 AM with a conversation containing the most famous verse in all the New Testament.

Come and share in the love at Lebanon as the summer gives way to fall.
