What are your favorite humanist resources for kids and congregations? Grandmother Fish is a modern classic that has been popular with UUs and UU Humanists since its publication a decade ago.
Author and Unitarian Universalist Jonathan M Tweet, who joined us at GA in 2019, writes:
"I have created a number of resources that help kids engage with evolution, in particular Grandmother Fish (Macmillan 2016), the first book to teach evolution to preschoolers. I can probably get Macmillan to ship your DRE a comp copy, and I'm available for virtual visits (or in-person visits, I'm in Seattle). I've done evolution presentations to congregations and kids at various UU churches. Kids love animals & families so they love learning about our place in the family of animals. There's a page on my website with links to resources or information about resources on this topic."
