Covenant Church, Doylestown

Covenant Church, Doylestown We are deeply flawed, but even more deeply loved. That says something about who we are, but more importantly it says something about the God we love and serve.

“God is love.”
We hear that phrase a lot but what does it actually mean?
In 1 John 4, we see that God’s love isn't vague. It is sacrificial, present, fearless, and transforming. And John tells us that this love becomes visible when God’s people love one another.

In 2026-2027 one of our areas of vision commitment is to double down on local community impact and involvement. We were so happy to participate in A-Day this year with a planting activity for kids (and college students who wanted some herbs for their dorms) and giving out free waters.

We pray that while planting seeds literally, we're able to begin planting spiritual seeds by being present in our community.

What does real love look like?
1 John 3 shows us two paths: Cain’s self-focused love that leads to death, and Jesus’ sacrificial love that brings life.
This week’s message reminds us that love is more than words. It shows up in action, sacrifice, forgiveness, and compassion.

What does it really mean to be “born again”?

In this week’s message from 1 John, we explore how the Christian life is more than a moment—it’s a lifelong transformation into the likeness of Jesus.
Not perfect people.
Not people without struggle.
But children of God growing in faith, love, and obedience.

What if the greatest obstacle to sharing your faith… isn’t lack of knowledge?

What if it’s fear?
Fear of rejection. Fear of awkwardness. Fear of what people might think.

In Acts 26, the apostle Paul stands on trial for preaching the gospel. Yet instead of shrinking back, he boldly shares his story, points people to Jesus, and extends an invitation to believe. And through his example, we’re reminded of something powerful:
We are all witnesses.

We had over 260 people register to be a part of our event and we were able to help eliminate $3.4 Million in medical debt here in Bucks County for families who need it most.

We also surpassed our fundraising goal from all donations, registrations, sponsors, etc. We still have some more that will trickle in over the month of May via company donation match programs. This gives us more negotiating leverage to pay off even more debt than we originally planned!

I would like to thank these businesses, organizations, and partnerships. Please support them with your thanks, tags on social media, and potential business in the future.
