You can know a lot about Jesus without learning to live like Jesus…

That’s one of the traps we can fall into with discipleship.

Information matters but Christian formation doesn’t stop at information.

A huge part of discipleship happens when we get close to other people to learn what following Jesus actually looks like and learn to model it.

How they pray, respond to conflict, make decisions, apologize, serve, suffer, forgive, and trust God.

They model it in our presence and we begin to practice those same things.

Who has helped you become more like Jesus because you’ve allowed them to speak into your life? Send them this reel or tag them.

Why do so many Christians feel stuck in their faith?

Ephesians 4 reminds us that discipleship is not just learning more information or adding another religious task to our lives. It is becoming more like Jesus through His Word, His Spirit, and His people.

This week’s message from the Reset series looks at discipleship as both learning and following. We are not meant to grow alone. God has placed us in the body of Christ so we can build one another up in love.

1,200 backpacks went home with families in Camden this weekend. 🎒 and that wasn’t even all of them!!!!

We had the privilege of joining Accelerate Church at the Kroc Center to serve families, meet neighbors, and put a whole lot of backpacks into a whole lot of hands. Literally a few thousand people showed up.

This is what we mean when we talk about building a community to reach a community people showing up together and putting love into action and supporting our regional ministry partners to make Gospel connections.

Thank you to everyone who packed, loaded, carried, organized, prayed, welcomed, and served.

Year 16 of making sure kids in Philly and Camden get the school supplies they need to go back to school. Thank you to everyone who came out this past Wednesday and packed a bag or 10.

We pray this is a an answer to prayer for the families looking for God’s provision.

We want to continue to extend the love of Jesus to our community, region, and world.

This is what it looks like to pack 2000 backpacks to give away to kids in need! Thank you to everyone who came and pack a backpack...or ten! We can't wait to give these out to families who need it and have been looking for God to provide.

We're excited for the impact this will make with our partners and in their communities and in individual lives.

We're also excited about the upcoming opportunities we have to be there for our local community, our region, and our world!
