Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends, may we pause in gratitude, pray for our fallen heroes, and ask God to bless our country with peace, unity, and courage.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:13

You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek” (Psalm 110:4).

What a magnificent and joyful occasion—the ordination of seven new priests, a profound gift to the Church and to the whole world. May God bless each of them abundantly as they begin their sacred ministry.

The Catholic priest, who offers the Eucharist under the signs of bread and wine, participates in this Melchizedekian priesthood—not by personal merit or tribal descent, but entirely by the grace of Christ.

These seven men will now stand at the altar and do what Melchizedek foreshadowed, what Christ instituted at the Last Supper, and what the Church has faithfully handed on for two millennia: to offer the one eternal Sacrifice of the Lamb for the life of the world.

God bless our newly ordained brothers.

Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal High Priest, we entrust to You these seven brothers of ours, who will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood this Saturday at the Jasna Góra Monastery in Częstochowa.

Through the loving intercession of Our Lady of Jasna Góra, cover them with the mantle of her maternal protection. Purify their hearts, strengthen their souls, and conform them ever more deeply to Your Sacred Heart.

May they be faithful sons of the Church, reverent servants of the Holy Eucharist, courageous preachers of the Gospel, compassionate confessors,
and joyful shepherds of Your people. Mary Queen of Poland and Mother of Priests, pray for them!

The Desert Fathers understood that holiness begins with humility.

The one who truly knows his own weakness becomes slow to condemn others.
Mercy grows when pride fades.

In the desert, the monks fought not only temptation, but the constant temptation to judge.

Christ calls us to something greater:
a heart that sees others with compassion, patience, and mercy.

If God is teaching you humility through your own weakness, do not be discouraged. Sometimes the path to holiness begins there.

„Thank you, women who are mothers! You have sheltered human beings within yourselves in a unique experience of joy and travail” (St. John Paul II). There is no greater gift than that of being a mother. Happy Mother’s Day!!
