The Quilting Ministry, Stitched With Love, made this adorable quilt for a sweet new baby girl! Each quilt is stitched with a blessing in the corner and the recipient is specifically prayed over. The women’s retreat this weekend was truly incredible! Our theme was ‘Pearls of Wisdom’. Our guest speaker, Diana Plummer, shared sessions on how to walk through relationships, difficult times and waiting with wisdom. Each lesson was a ‘pearl’ we could add to our spiritual necklace to live out a life as women of wisdom. Our friends from FBC Jenks led us in intentional and heartfelt times of worship to the Lord. God showed up in amazing ways throughout the entire weekend, especially by giving us beautiful weather to enjoy the grounds! We could not have asked for a better weekend together! Proverbs 9:10 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Stitched with Love Quilting Ministry

This month, Michele Robinson will be teaching an English Paper Piecing class—a great skill for new quilters and a wonderful way for many hands to contribute to one beautiful quilt. NEW QUILTING MINISTRY | BEGINS MARCH 9 | 6-9p

Join us for our new Quilting Ministry, Stitched With Love! Takes place on the 2nd Monday of each month from 6-9PM (come & go as you need) at the home of Becky Chapman.

Quilts made will be donated to First Baptist for mission and outreach ministries.

Ways to participate:
Come Sew with us!
No experience? That's ok, come learn... we can teach you to sew, cut fabric and quilt.
Hand and machine quilting projects.
Have a stash of 100% cotton fabric or already made quilt tops? You can donate it to the Quilting Ministry.

Samantha Sullivan invites you to join her for a digital time of prayer on February 27th at 1pm. Samantha is one of our missionary partners serving in Germany and is the coordinator for our quarterly prayer meetings. This Friday, we will hear from a female missionary currently in the mission field and how she is serving the community, making connections and partnering with the local church. We take time at the end of every digital meeting to pray over the missionary and her ministry.

Women’s Discipleship - What is it?? We are SO glad you asked!👏🏼

✨After much thought and prayer, we’ve elected for 2026 to be a pilot year of a new model of what was previously the Women’s Mentoring Ministry. While many elements of the ministry look thesame as previous years, there are two major changes.
✨The first change is that the formal
discipleship commitment is no longer 6 months but, rather, a year-long commitment of walking
through scripture (and life!) with your discipler/disciplee match.
✨The second big change is that we
have elected to use the Flourish curriculum by Passion City Church to guide our journey through scripture. Throughout the year, you and your discipler/disciplee will dive into God’s word to discover what Scripture says about prayer, identity, calling, kinship, and gratitude.
✨This year,you have the opportunity to build special relationships as disciplers and disciplees and together dig into understanding God’s truth and love through his Word.
✨We would love for you to participate in Women’s Discipleship. Registration is open through January 25th. There is a small fee to cover curriculum cost.
