Last night, as I was talking with my daughter before bed, she asked me a simple question that made me stop and think logically. She asked: "Ma, what would it take for you to win in everything you do, outside of money?"
I sat with that question for a moment, and said with confidence: "Transformation of the mind, not just actions. Changing methods doesn't always help you to win. It's your OVERALL perspective of "winning" that gives insight of the end goal and not just the process."
In every "battle" we can face anxiety, defeat, fear, complacency, self-doubt, and even the acceptance of loss, but these emotional holds often begins with one hidden belief: that deep down, we don't truly believe it's possible to win.
That's why Jesus said that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. It's not about winning the same way all the time; it's about genuinely believing in your heart that its possible. When your mind and heart aren't aligned with faith, your hopes and dreams have no elevator to ride on.
Real victory starts long before the results show up. It begins with renewing your mind, believing what God says is possible, and refusing to let fear write the story of your future.
Moments like this remind me why I cherish being a mother. It's not because I have all the answers, but because God allowed me to overcome enough setbacks, setups, and battles to pass on wisdom that can help shape my daughter's future. If my experiences become her strength, then every lesson I learned was worth it!
Change your mind, strengthen your faith, and your life will begin to follow.
