Satellight TFC group

Satellight TFC group Satellight Teens For Christ is a para church ministry for all youth of Smith Center and surrounding communities.

This is a Teens For Christ Connections Group in Downs Kansas/ transportation available from Smith Center and surrounding communities for teens ages 12-18 years old. Although it is held at New Covenant in Smith Center, it is open to youth from all churches and unchurched youth ages 12-18. Come join us each Wednesday night for Bible Studies @ 6:30 pm for food, fellowship, crazy games, and of course,

to learn about God's Love and His Plan for your Life. Van transportation is available to and from events. Our large group events will be held on 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 6 to 9:30 pm. These events will include movie nights, tournaments, food, crazy fun games, fellowship and an opportunity to learn about the Gospel.

Tonight we started our TFC with hotdogs and home made brownies. Never a shortage of sweet stuff at the First Christian Church at Downs !
Next we went to the basement to play Pumpkin Bowling . Noelle whooped everyone, helping her team win the tournament!
We followed games with working on our memory verse - John 15:1-11 and a few songs to focus us on the Lord !
During lesson time Hunter discussed how God draws us closer to Him even through hard times when we don’t understand what He’s doing and we lose trust .
We also looked at a few videos from To Save a Life and challenged us to choose to be the person to reach out to those around us with the love of Jesus and the Gospel message ! We needed to look at the fact that it is a life and death topic . Tell your friend about Jesus or even a stranger !
Lastly we spent time with Jesus and prayed for each other .
