Today, we remember. We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the families whose lives changed forever. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the ordinary people who cared for strangers, and all those who still carry the grief and memories of that day.
Twenty-five years later, we pray for a world still in need of peace. And we ask God to help us be people who choose compassion over fear, courage over hatred, and love of neighbor again and again. May we remember well. May we work for peace. May we love one another.
