Today at 1:00 PM, the bells of the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philly will ring for ten minutes as part of Bell Ringing Against Gun Violence, a movement calling communities to pray for peace and an end to gun violence. We invite you to join this moment of solidarity by pausing wherever you are at 1:00 PM for prayer, lifting up peace, healing, and hope for our communities and our world.

God of peace, we pray for all those impacted by gun violence. Bring comfort to those who grieve, healing to communities living in fear, and wisdom and courage to those working for peace. May our hearts never grow numb to suffering, and may your hope guide us to take action toward a safer and more compassionate world. Amen.

How many rolls of toilet paper does it take to save Sue from this hat? 1,000! Sue says she’s wearing this beauty until Hopewell collects 1,000 rolls of toilet paper for local food banks. Single rolls or 4-6 packs work best. Bring your donations to church and help us care for our neighbors in a very Hopewell kind of way. Challenge accepted?

Today, we are celebrating our partnership with Good Works, Inc. Each month, a team of Hopewell volunteers serves with Good Works by completing repairs on a local home. Last month, our team finished repairs and shared in a home dedication with the dear homeowner, who was gifted a quilt from Hopewell stitchers. This marks the completion of Hopewell's 28th home as a Good Works partner church. Want to lend a hand with the monthly team? Comment below!

One of the ways The Well helps children explore faith is through experiences like visiting Hopewell's labyrinth. Pastor Vicki recently shared with our younger students how walking the labyrinth can help us slow down, focus, and pay attention to God. And of course, rolling down the hill afterwards was a favorite part of the day! 😊

As summer begins, we invite you to make use of this beautiful space across the street in the cemetery. Whether you are seeking prayer, reflection, or simply a quiet moment with God, the labyrinth and the beauty of nature await you!
