First Baptist Church of Downing

First Baptist Church of Downing We are Southern Baptist Church located in rural NE Missouri. Our church is made up of men and women who seek to follow Jesus in the strength He gives us.

As men and women of faith, we desire to live out that faith by connecting people to the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the same time, we also seek needed growth and transformation in our faith, as God continues to work in us and change us. And we go and serve in various ways that the Lord has gifted us, serving God, for His glory, realizing it's all about Him. We connect with the gospel, grow in the g

ospel, and go and serve in the gospel. We have Sunday School groups for all ages, from preschool to adulthood. These start at 9:30 am every Sunday morning. Our worship service starts at 10:30 am. This is where we express our love for God in Christ through song, and through prayer. And it is during this time that Pastor Les will share a message from the Bible, teaching it and applying it to our lives. Wednesday evening activities will be coming soon! Everyone is more than welcome to come!
