MCGI CENTRAL LOS ANGELES CELEBRATES THANKSGIVING

Another week has passed, and once again, the brethren of MCGI gathered in thanksgiving to glorify and honor our God, who never leaves our side through every circumstance of life.

From the youngest to the oldest, we came together with grateful hearts, recognizing His endless mercy, guidance, protection, and love. Through trials and blessings alike, God continues to show His faithfulness and kindness beyond measure.

May our hearts always be filled with gratitude as we remember God’s endless love and kindness.

HEARTS OVERFLOWING WITH JOY: MCGI CENTRAL LOS ANGELES CELEBRATES THANKSGIVING

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:” - PSALMS 92:1 (KJV)

Thanksgiving is a special service dedicated to giving thanks to God for His blessings, guidance, protection, and mercy. It is considered an important biblical practice based on teachings that encourage believers to offer thanksgiving and praise to God.

Deepest thanksgiving is offered to the Almighty for His endless mercy, for keeping everyone safe during the gathering, and for always giving the brotherhood reasons to sing praises to His holy name.

With hearts full of joy and adoration, to God be the glory forever and ever!

Last Saturday, May 02,2026, Members Church of God International at the Locale of Central Los Angeles held a Baptism once again. The baptism in Members Church of God International is considered an important step of faith and commitment to God. It symbolizes the washing away of past sins and the beginning of a new life in Christ. Before baptism, a person is taught the fundamental doctrines of the Church to ensure they understand the meaning of their decision. Baptism is performed by full immersion in water, following the biblical example of the early Christians. For members, it is not only a public declaration of faith but also a promise to live according to God’s commandments and remain faithful in serving Him.

Held on April 25, 2026, with hearts full of compassion and dedication, the brethren from Central and North Los Angeles — from our kids and teens to our seniors—came together to make this Senior’s Day meaningful and successful. Their joy and commitment were evident as they lovingly served and, above all, glorified God.

This Senior’s Day will continue to be held every month as a way to consistently honor and care for our beloved seniors.

A day filled with faith, love, and gratitude as we give glory to God for the lives of our elders. Their wisdom, experiences, and presence are truly invaluable, reminding us to cherish every moment we have together.
