Today is Thesis Thursday - a day that we share one of the 95 theses that Luther posted that got the ball rolling for the reformation.
Thesis 37

Every true Christian, whether living or dead, has part in all the blessings of Christ and the Church; and this is granted him by God, even without letters of pardon.

Just a quick reminder. Luther did not post these thesis as a way to protest against the Catholic church, but as a way to start a debate on these topics - a process that was very common at the time.

Another note: Just like we are not the same person as we were ten, 20, 30, ... years ago, we have to remember that the Roman Catholic church is not the same as it was when Luther posted these thesis.
