I apologize for the late notice here, but Immanuel Lutheran Church of Downers Grove is looking for an organist to sub this Sunday, 6/16, for our 8:15am service. Anyone available, or know someone who might be?

Hi Church!

So sorry for the late notice, but I'm sure you've heard that Immanuel Lutheran Church of Downers Grove is working on getting rid of any excess stuff we have in the lower level to prepare for the renovation. I have been task with getting rid of any music equipment that we're not using in the downstairs/youth music room. There are instruments, amps, stands, chords, soundboards, etc. that need to go. We're trying to get any valuable stuff sold, online or person to person, any proceeds would go to the Immanuel Music Fund to hopefully pay for a new digital soundboard up in the balcony, and any future needs. (let me know if you know something we need).

What we need your help with is getting the stuff out of the church, that's the #1 priority. We will be keeping just a bare minimum number of items to have a youth band room set-up. Everything else must go.

If there's something you want, you can make a donation to buy it, prices are extremely negotiable for church members. But, beyond that, you might take something home with the intention of selling it, keeping a commission, and giving the rest of the proceeds back to the music fun. If we can't sell it, it will be offered up in the free-sale on Thursday, the 24th. If it isn't taken, it will be donated to good will or thrown out.

I'll be at the church today, around 5:30, to go continue going through everything and setting aside the thing we want to keep, and putting everything else in the free-sale pile while taking pictures to post online.

Please come and help! Even if you can only take one thing home to try and sell, that would be a huge help to us. Give me a call if you have any questions, or if you can't make it tonight, to arrange another time to come and help.

Again, I apologize for the late notice, wish I had gotten this call for help out to ya'll earlier. But, let's work something out, and thanks for all you do! See you soon.
