James reminds us that wisdom is revealed through a life marked by humility, not simply by how much we know. Worldly wisdom fueled by jealousy and selfish ambition tears people apart, while wisdom from God produces peace, mercy, humility, and good fruit. Ultimately, godly wisdom comes from above and transforms our hearts so that our lives increasingly look like Jesus.
