Walking through the Obama Presidential Center on May 28, 2026 for the first time brought with it a strong sense of pride, faith, and reflection. As a Black man, it means even more to see the journey and legacy of Barack Obama honored in this way. It makes me think about our history, the struggles endured, and the progress made through faith, perseverance, and God’s grace. It is a reminder that moments once considered impossible are now part of our story. I know millions of people will walk through this center having these same feelings.
