I attended my first Soaring South District Conference today. It was a well-thought-out organized meeting. The workshop leaders were informatively led by Dr. Reginald Blount and Rev. Orsella Hughes. The closing sermon was by Rev. Larry Simmons Isaiah 43:18-19.
He said, "While you are doing the new thing, don't lose sight of the main thing."
My best regards to Presiding Elder H. Michael Lemmons and the program chair Rev. Sherinese Jackson and all the people involved in creating a fabulous and empowering conference experience.
